THERMAL PERFORMANCE
KISIKA GFRP Rebar is manufactured using high-performance E-Glass fibres embedded in a durable polymer matrix, delivering exceptional long-term performance in demanding environments.
Unlike conventional steel reinforcement, GFRP reinforcement is immune to corrosion and maintains its structural integrity in aggressive chemical, marine and high-moisture conditions.
The E-Glass fibres used in KISIKA GFRP Rebar exhibit outstanding thermal stability and do not begin to soften until temperatures of approximately 830°C, providing a highly stable reinforcement core even under severe thermal exposure.
For standard structural applications, the composite system is designed to maintain full performance within its specified service temperature range. For projects requiring enhanced fire performance or elevated-temperature resistance, KISIKA can provide customised GFRP solutions using advanced resin systems, including High-Tg Epoxy, Phenolic, BMI or Cyanate Ester technologies.
